For more than a decade, WHB through its Environment Division has been providing a vital service in the solid waste management services business. WHB began as one of the pioneer companies involved in the solid waste management when awarded a 20 year Concession cum Privatization by the State of Selangor to build and operate a sanitary landfill at Air Hitam, Puchong, Selangor. The landfill had in total received and treated more than 6 million tonnes of solid waste.
